Here are a few cards I made this week.
I created this one using the new SEI Dill Blossom line and it is soooo PRETTY ! There is something warm about the color tones and yet so bright.

Now Dream Streets new paper Hugs-n-Kisses will put a smile on just about any body. I luv how cute and FUN it is. I got some extra PP sheets for my Niece who I know will luv them.

I was glad to have gotten the opportunity to go and hang out with my friends in Shaumburg on Saturday and what great time we had. Did a little shopping at IKEA and also got to hit the Woodfield Mall.
While we were there at the mall a really neat store was opening up and making its debute called Ridemakerz. Which is owned by Build a Bear and centered around cars for Boys. The concept is so cool. You pretty much get to make and put together your car and it comes in a cool box just like the bears do. Finally something for Boys
In our home we don't do sports but we do cars. Over haulin is one of our family's favorite shows and Chip Foose was there signing cars and Autographs.
I of course waited in line because I knew my family would luv it! I got a chance to briefly talk with Chip Foose who is so sweet and to make a long story short he offered to make my husband a drawing. He had me speak to his manager who said he was not sure what kind of drawing it would be, whether it would be a sketch or a drawing on a t-shirt but he would get us something. I was a blubbering mess !!!!! Chip Foose ROCKS !!!!!!!!! Here is an article that was written up on the store: http://www.nytimes.com/2007/05/29/business/29bear.html?ei=5088&en=b9414849a3d98fa4&ex=1338091200&adxnnl=1&partner=rssnyt&emc=rss&adxnnlx=1208782812-PP4PO9xz+ilM7tu9kxTN2g
So I have been working on my scrap room and here are some pictures of what Ive done.
The shelf on the left here I got at IKEA and luv how I was able to organize my paints and inks that I tend to forget to use because they were hidden in plastic containers. I luv how the drawers slide right out and I can put the little container right on my scrap table while I'm working on a project and back into the shelf again when I'm done. The shelf is really tall and all together there are 13 containers on mine. When I get a chance to go back I'll probably get more containers and get rid of the glass shelves that have on top .

I got these lovely tin containers at IKEA as well and luv how they look on my shelves. Just so bright and so FUN !

I got this FAB button organizer at JoAnns and luv it. I can either pop the top off but it also has a great tab dispenser. Its sliced into 8 separate sections. It measures about 6 inches high and really holds quite a bit.

O.k. a few months ago my hubby broke his cell phone and he has been using mine up until now. I did not want to buy a phone out right. I knew our contract was almost up and I knew I could get a free phone. I just never imagined I could get an awesome awesome deal on this bad boy for me.
Well until next week have a wonderful Blessed Day
