Mom came and spent a few days here and it was just so nice. Than yesterday my little sis came over and made us omelets and we had a Wii Bowling competition. I of course won with a score of 245- Who's the Bomb Val ?! hehehe
Other than that things have been a little slow here. Anxious for some good warm weather- Rain Rain Go Away ! I'm also starting to plan my garden this week and refurbish some furniture pieces.
Well here are some of the projects I worked on this week:
Just a simple Spring Card using some new Scenic Route & Creative Cafe.
I made this little purse for my Niece using some Pink Paislee. She luvs pretty little things for her school locker so what I made her are magnets to hold her pictures. For the magnets I used Heidi Grace's new stamps and used Crystal Effects to make them sturdy and thick. Than I backed them up with magnet sheets. What I luv is that they fit perfectly into the small little purse. I think I'll go ahead and back up the buttons and make them into magnets too.
Made this layout using the new Sassafras PP Kimberly sent me. Wohooo I can't wait to play with the rest of it. If you don't have any Sassafras PP yet I have got to tell you it is a must ! So cute and I luv how they now give you that extra diecut strip. Luv it !!!!
And now Basic Grey who I can never get enough of. I made this layout using their Sugared PP. However the actual layout was inspired by a wonderful site called A Million Memories. They have wonderful challenges and this weeks was cutting it up. We were challenged to cut up some PP.
