Christmas on my Mind and in my Heart

Christmas is by far my favorite Holiday. I luv Christmas Decor, Christmas Wrapping Paper, Christmas Music, Christmas Trees and of course Christmas Cards. This past week I decided to jump ahead and make some Christmas cards ,tags and a mini-album.

I once again got to work with the Fabulous Websters Pages as a Guest Designer for them this month. They sent me some of their gorgeous Christmas paper the " Winter Wonderland" & "Ting-a-ling" line. Also cheek out their live site where the inspiration and talent is just Crazy good ! YUMMY ! Take a look at what I did :

Well the new November kits are up at "A Kiss on The Chic.com" oh my goodness are these kits packed. I know I ve said it before but Laura really knows how to combine the right elements to create such a jam packed GORGEOUS kits. She has completely revamped the Kiss on The Chic Blog which I am so in luv with the whole Shabby look she went with, so make sure to swing by there and take a look.
Here is what I have done so far with the November Kit - The mini album I created is extremly special to me. It will be three years this comeing January that our family experienced major loss in our home thru a fire. It took over a year to re-build and still our home is a work in progress. The journaling on the cover reads " And my heart whispers, home at last" I plan on using this album to journal about this experience and how I have changed thru that very difficult time in my life.So if your wondering where to start with your Christmas cards.....wonder no more. Go straight to Cut Card Stock.com where they have such amazing pre-scored cards, cardstock and of course matching envelopes in all sizes. Every Holiday card should have a bit of shimmer and glimmer. Well they have some of that and more !

For my tags I decided to use some of the A2 Star Dream Metalic Ruby Envelopes. For the cards I decided to use the super classy square 5.5 X 5.5 Vellum Envelopes. Take a peek here at all envelopes sizes to find what you are looking for at Cut Card Stock.com . Since I really wanted these tags and cards to Shimmer I decided to use StarDream Metallics in the Crystal Color 105lb cardstock as the base for my card and tag. I also used it for my embossed bird and I was really happy with the results. You can take a peek here at all the pretty shiny 8.5 x 11 colors they offer in the Star Dream line.
Also remember the "Colors of Fall" contest that is going on by Cut Card Stock.com. Swing by http://www.cutcardstock.cblogspot.com/ and enter. They are giving away 2 $25.00 gift cards to their store where you can stock up on some of the glimmer and shimmer stuff that I luv :' ) But run and dont walk since you only have till November 1st to enter.
Clearly there is something so SWEET about little baby piggies....especially when they belong to my babies. This week I was inspired by Random Chaos #38 to create a page about how special these little toes are to many. If your looking for a great challenge site, look no more ! The challenges are great and so is the inspiration by the many talented designers that produce work every week to motivate you.
Every Friday Embellish It Online has wonderful challenges as well. I would luv to have you swing by and give one a try. One of the recent challenges was to create something using Card Board......I had never done anything like this before and this is what I was inspired to create:

Thanks for stopping by to visit me - I wish you a very joyous and Blessed Day !
