Tinkering Ink Win and a Special Project

I started working on something special for my kids this week. They always have tons of questions about how their father and I meet. They also have been asking questions like: When was our first kiss, How did he ask me to marry him, etc. So I decided I would make an album for them filled with all of these facts. I made the first page this week. They are all going to be 8.5x12 vertical pages. Here is the first page called "U".

Now I know you all are going to laugh at me but I tried something this week I had never done before. I had never made an ATC . You know those little 3.5x2.5 mini cards. I have seen them and just have never tried it. Well at http://www.embellish-online.com/ they had a great challenge and I gave it a try. Guess what ? I'm hooked !!!!!! I had a lots of FUN making these but believe me as a scrapper when u are use to having so much paper to work with- these are much harder than they look.
OK if u haven't noticed yet I was extremely bored this week. Damien worked alot. He even worked on Monday. So I was in need of and on the look out for some inspiration and challenges. I wandered over to http://www.triplethesketch.blogspot.com/ where I found tons of inspiration and found a fab sketch challenge and this is what I came up with.

Woooohooo I am so excited to have found out I was one of the winners for the Tinkering Ink Vintage contest. I had so much fun creating the card set. My first experience with Tinkering Ink was when I made this layout:
I really do enjoy working with it. Than the nite before I found out about the win I made this card for a challenge at http://www.embellish-online.com/ using more Tinkering Ink .Now keep in mind that Croppinsville is almost ready.
