I haven't purchased a Scrappy Magazine in quite a while. I got a chance to look thru the CK 101 Hip, Handmade Gifts while in the check out line at JoAnns and decided to purchase it. It really is a stunning magazine and it even encouraged me to make a handmade gift for a friends Baby Shower. My family keeps asking what animal is it and to be honest I am not really sure. I am pretty happy with the way it turned out. I made it out of a grayish velvet and some yellow cotton I had on hand and used MME Tres Bien "Summer Turquoise" buttons for the eyes. The only thing I wish I would have done different was embroider the baby's name and a heart on its chest but that was an after thought. Who knows maybe if I have time I will make some matching bibs and embroider on the bibs.

He is so stinking cute!!! What a fun gift! Love the clock too, how fun!

She is such a doll. Love those gorgeous eyes. She's wearing the dress that was supposed to be Andrew's....had he been a girl. ;)
ReplyDeleteGosh, I love your projects. My very trendy London daughters in law would just love that funky little creature. Your little Isabella is just gorgeous - those eyes and glossy hair. I've enjoyed looking at your blog. Thanks for sharing your talent.
